SSCEDirect does this in a fraction of the time needed by the ADO.Net update method. > Very slow load times using ADO.Net can be reduced dramatically using SSCEDirect. A typical 10,000 record database table load using ADO.Net can easily take over 10 minutes to complete, where SSCEDirect can load this same data in only 20 seconds. > SSCEDirect allows the Compact Framework to directly interface with Sql Server CE and bypass the performance penalties of using the normal ADO.Net classes within the Framework. Data can be loaded from a variety of sources including DataTable objects, flat files, delimited text, or XML. This performance is made available through a set of easy-to-use .Net CF classes. |
